Former: Students who have previously attended UNA as a degree-seeking and have been absent for one or more fall or spring semesters AND did not attend another institution during their absence.
Freshman: Students who graduate from high school and come directly to UNA (excluding summer semester after high school).
Transfer: Degree-seeking students with prior college-level work from another institution (excluding dual enrollment).
UNA Early College: High school juniors and seniors who rank above average in academic achievement and who meet the requirements may, upon the written recommendation of their principals or guidance counselors, be admitted for approved coursework.
Micro Credential: A micro-credential is a small program that allows you to gain relevant skills that are needed in today’s workforce. All micro-credentials offered at UNA are aligned with 21st-century workforce demands, including critical thinking, intercultural fluency, digital technology, and more. These small programs are specifically designed to equip professionals with the skills that employers want, in order to stay at the leading edge of their disciplines.
